PRAISE GOD
We are home owners. We are moving things, which we own, in to a house that we own (sorta)-
I have keys to this house. I can hang things on the walls or even paint them and ask no one- (well except for sweet hubby, but I supose if I am going to do the work he won't care lol) I have closets. I have a yard. I have trees.
A dream? Perhaps...please do not wake me.
I think I will have rice crispies and pickles to celebrate.

Rice crispies and pickles...hehehe....
It is wonderful, isn't it? I'm so happy for you.
God bless!!!
Yay! Yay! I am so happy for you! Enjoy your new home!! And painting... I want to paint so bad!!!
I've been reading your blog off and on for a while and your entries are always so interesting. Congratulations on getting a house! My husband and I are trying to do the same thing, but still waiting on getting pre-approved for a loan. Painting one's house must be a woman thing because I've only known women who are so excited to paint the walls of their house.
Congrats on the house. I don't paint ... It makes me sick. My husband can only paint when we can leave the windows open.
The ointment I got is called Johnson's 3-in-1 healing diaper rash cream with zinc oxide. It does seem to be working, but I've also put some neosporin on it about twice a day, so the I guess the combination definitely working. My Michael was always getting a diaper rash, sometimes really bad ones. But when we switched over to cloth and changed him right away after a BM, they seem to have disappeared! I can't wait until he's potty trained, then no more worries about rashes!
Oh, be careful, Angie...As the parent of a child with a birth defect, let me warn that there is toxicity in those paint fumes. ...If memory serves, it's only safe to paint in the third trimester...? (I'd look that up, my memory is bad.)
