  • phone blogging

Well it seems pretty hard to figure out how to navagate xanga on my Blackberry.
School is winding down I am so excited for summer. This sunday Johnette Benkovic (from EWTN and the Women of Grace series) is doing a mini retreat at our parish which I am hosting...fun! Chris and I did an interview on Catholic radio yesterday about the event and about young adult ministry that was pretty cool.
Thursday is the last day of school, the kids get out at noon, and there is a family picnic after.
Grace had her 7th b-day on the 16th and we had 15 little girls at our house :) we had a blast! Thank God Kelly was here to help.
Jacob is 3 months old. What an angel! He is such a mellow happy little guy, except when he is in the car seat which he loaths! Life with 4 children is so full of blessings and messes and crazyness :)
We continue to pray at the abortion clinic each monday and I try and run a mile or two each day for sanity's sake ;)
Ok must be off to the Grocery store it looks like it's going to pour out there...

  • where in the world

I got a text today from a friend wondering where I was because I have not been blogging.  We decided not to get the internet in our home to save money and also I have been aware in my heart so many times about what a huge waste of time I allow the net to become for me.  Not having the internet is a HUGE blessing.  I am here at the library near our house.

The children love school!  I love our new house.  We are worried for the country but God is in control.  I am now 22 weeks pregnant, its a BOY (again!) I have been going once a week with a friend to a abortion clinic to sidewalk counsel and I can not even believe how bold God is allowing me to be.  I have seen babies saved by God's grace.  Chris is still working hard at nursing school and is doing well.  Life is peaceful.  We are happy.  Maybe someday soon when I can trust my self...hehe  we can get the net again.

What beautiful weather.  Hope all is well for you xanga friends.  I keep you in my prayers.

  • The convention center here is already filling up with evacuees from LA and coastal Texas cities..  We lived in Houston through the last scary hurricane.  We evacuated to ..well here..it took us 7 hours to travel a normally 3 hour drive.  People were stranded with out gas on the side of the road.  It was a crazy time.  My heart is full of prayers for the people, everyone is much more organized now.

Chris should be home soon from retreat.  Tomorrow is the 'Big Stuff ' day. We will move our couches, washer and dryer, fridge and stuff like that. Kelly and I have spent the last 2 days moving the smaller things.  Small, being relative to the Couch...Some of the stuff was heavy and as much as I hate to say it-  I should not have been lifting them in my preggie state-  I was in some pain later in the evening.  Praise GOD for Kelly and all her help!  We are trying to get some male friends to help tomorrow, so many people are busy.  Pray that we will have the arms we need.

The rest of the week I will spend organizing and decorating.  I am so excited.

I may be internet-less for a week or so.  Please keep us in your prayers during this big transition.  My littles are excited, but nervous for a change.
God bless you my xanga friends.

  • PRAISE GOD

We are home owners.  We are moving things, which we own, in to a house that we own (sorta)-
I have keys to this house.  I can hang things on the walls or even paint them and ask no one- (well except for sweet hubby, but I supose if I am going to do the work he won't care lol)   I have closets.  I have a yard.  I have trees.
A dream? Perhaps...please do not wake me.

I think I will have rice crispies and pickles to celebrate.

  • Lord Beer Me Some Strength. =P

Tomorrow we close on the house.
    YAY Hip hip hooray!
We won't actually sleep there until Monday night.  Chris has a retreat this weekend so we can't move a whole lot, unless I some how come up with man power and a truck...
Kelly will be here this weekend, poor thing she always seems to have to help us move when we do.

Grace cried today when she saw me at mass.  Should I stop going to mass?  That would be sad for me...  Her Pediatrician said she may have (still) separation anxiety....how do we fix that? Such a sweet  little soul she has.

I'm so glad we have gotten into the  show The Office.  I am laughing right now about something they said last night.  I want to explain it, but it wont translate well.  I'll put it in the title. hahahahaha
